I have some rechargeable batteries, but I quite often forget to charge them up.

But as I buy, use and throw out more and more disposable batteries, which end up in the landfill, I was thinking there must be a better solution.

That's interesting, I like not needing to remember a charger since USB charging is almost universal for devices now. Would be much handier for traveling.
